Embedded B2B payments is one of the largest market opportunities that we’ve seen to date with an estimated $244B in net revenue by 2030. Until recently, software companies looking to monetize payments had limited cost-effective options due to the high overhead costs of becoming a Payment Facilitator(PayFac). We believe that players that offer a managed solution that enables software providers to become PayFacs without the hassle and high-operating costs will become the preferred partner.
Timeliness
Roughly 30% of SMBs in the United States use software platforms to operate their businesses, and we expect this to increase significantly as business owners look to digitize. The rise in platform adoption will enable
embedded payment providers to not only access these new SMB customers but will also help platform companies create new revenue streams off of integrated payments.
