Chris Young

Chris has spent his career at the forefront of technology and cybersecurity, co-founding Cyveillance and holding senior leadership roles at AOL, RSA, VMware, and Cisco. As CEO of McAfee, he led the landmark spin-out from Intel in 2017, running one of the world’s largest cybersecurity companies protecting more than 500 million consumers. He joined Microsoft in 2020 as Executive Vice President of Business Development, Strategy, and Ventures — reporting directly to CEO Satya Nadella — where he oversaw hundreds of strategic partnerships and guided M12, Microsoft’s corporate venture fund, through a pivotal period of AI investment. As a CEO Partner at Ardent, Chris brings a rare combination of startup founder instincts, global enterprise operating expertise, and deep relationships across the AI and technology ecosystem. He holds an A.B. from Princeton University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
